Dear Friends, Family and my new
fans!!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. With snow
shoveling, beating the traffic to do Christmas shopping, trying to
find a parking space at the mall, . . . . . finding the right
color, size, style for those picky relatives of ours, . . . .
. it is a hectic time of year, . . . . don't you agree?
I must say that when my loved ones asked me what I
would like to have for Christmas, I paused and smiled. Not that
I did not know what I wanted, desired or lusted after, but for
the mere fact that I was concerned about their hearts! After all, I
wondered, . . . . would their hearts take my demands, desires,
and expectations? Could their wallets handle the price tag of what I
wanted . . . . note that I did not say
needed!
"I want nothing!" came the reply from my lips, and my
husband's eyes grow big with shock. I knew what he was thinking, . .
. . Is faye ill? May be she fell out of bed this morning!
His silence spoke a thousand words and I heard every
word of it. Bless his heart, he did surprise me with things
that I would not buy for myself. . . . . I mean the things I would
never buy!!!! But I love him all the more for trying
to please me.
As for a New Year resolution, I guess I have
decided to work harder on my books. You cannot believe the
magnitude of the success of my first book. "Lords of an Angle" it is
a success and I thank you for it. I have received emails telling me
of how much the story had touched the readers' hearts and souls. I
thank you all for writing reviews on Amazon.com, B&N.com and
this website (see Comments/Reviews ). It means a lot to me.
However, I have had several complaints about the
husbands who went without food for a few days while their wives
were glued to the book. Unfortunately, I could not control that,
however, I would suggest to the husbands to read the book to
have something in common with their wives. Believe me when I tell
you that in some cases 'Lords of an Angel' has helped some marriages
better than any marriage counselor could!
Thanks for all of your kind and encouraging words and
please, . . . . keep it coming! I cannot get enough!
Fondest regards,
Faye Wallace
